The Chinese County-Level Data on Hospitals and Epidemiology Stations, 1950-1985 was developed by the team led by Prof. William Lavely ( Director of CITAS - China in Time and Space - Project and Associate Professor at University of Washington, Seat tle, USA.).

Ms. Alana Boland (Research Assistant at University of Washington) and Mr. Alisa Chang (Research Assistant at University of Washington) assisted the data development.

The SEDAC (Socioeconomic Data and Application Center) China task group coordinated data management at CIESIN. Contributors included: Dr. Liu Chuang (Information Scientist and China Task Leader) for coordinating between CIESIN and CITAS, and within the China task group; Dr. Karen C. Sullivan (Information Specialist) for the metadata records; Ms. Mahasin Z.
