Global Roads Open Access Data Set (gROADS), v1 (1980 – 2010)

The Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN), with funding from SEDAC and other sources, and under the rubric of the CODATA Global Roads Data Development Task Group, developed a number of methods for evaluating, cleaning, and processing roads data for inclusion in gROADSv1.
