3XPT Variable list. These variables comprise the original STF3A database from which the Standard Extract Files have been derived. The STF3A database was read into SAS using the stf3dbf.sas macro directly from the cdrom media. This information describes the data structure of these files. The data files are in SAS transport format. The entire STF3A database for each state has been split into 9 transport files: stcnty (slvl=040&050), mcd (slvl=060), tract (slvl=140), blockgroups (slvl=150), place (slvl=155&160), sl070 (slvl=070), sl080 (slvl=080), sl090 (slvl=090), and all other geographies have been combined into 'other'.
