A history of each edit made to a shapefile (with corresponding comments) is maintained. On a daily basis, these shapefiles are used to generate a Hazardous Waste Site polygon layer within the GRASP Geobase. Any problems that are encountered during the creation of the Hazardous Waste Site layer are logged to a report that is accessible via the GRASP Intranet Web Site. Completeness_Report: A variety of data are used to define each site boundary that GRASP analyzes. These varying pieces of data include digital spatial data, USGS quad sheets, aerial photographs, topographic maps, GPS coordinates, and verbal descriptions. Although all pieces of information do not exist for each site, GRASP staff synthesizes information from as many sources as possible to develop an accurate site boundary.
