Welcome to SEDAC's Model Guide for DICE. The DICE (Dynamic Integrated Model of Climate and the Economy) model is an integrated assessment model of global climate change developed by William D. Nordhaus at Yale University.
This guide provides access to detailed technical information on the DICE model. It also includes background information on the development of the model and how it has been used. Information in this guide is reproduced with the permission of authors and publishers. If you are unfamiliar with the field of integrated assessment modeling, we recommend that you first review SEDAC's Thematic Guide on Integrated Assessment of Climate Change. In addition, the MVA Usage Guide provides information on how to use integrated assessment models and SEDAC's MVA service.
