SPOT (Système Probatoire de la Observation de la Terre)

Flown aboard the SPOT satellite.

Applications: environmental monitoring; land use/land cover.

The HRVIR instrument onboard SPOT satellites has a panchromatic (10 m resolution) and 5 spectral bands (20 m resolution) that collect data in the blue, green, red, near infrared, and mid infrared portions of the spectrum.

The VEGETATION instrument onboard SPOT satellites has 4 spectral bands (blue, red, near infrared, and mid infrared), with a pixel size of 1.5 km.
