ECOLEX: This searchable database, sponsored by FAO, IUCN, and UNEP, provides comprehensive information on environmental treaties (texts and signatory status), national legislation, court decisions, and literature.
Environmental Treaties and Resource Indicators (ENTRI): ENTRI is a fast, convenient, comprehensive online service for accessing multilateral environmental treaty data. Users can easily find status data for environmental treaties, treaty text and other related information, and construct custom “treaty status” tables by selecting countries and treaties of interest.
Institutional Dimensions of lobal Environmental Change (IDGEC): IDGEC is a long-term international research project developed during the 1990s under the auspices of the International Human Dimensions Programme on Global Environmental Change (IHDP. It currently operates as one of IHDP’s core projects. IDGEC sponsors and coordinates research on the roles that institutions play as determinants of the course of human/environmental interactions with respect to global environmental change. The project aims to generate knowledge about social institutions and, at the same time, to build and disseminate the intellectual capital needed to devise policies to mitigate global environmental change problems.
The Multilaterals Project: This is an ongoing project at The Fletcher School of Tufts University to make available the texts of international multilateral conventions and other instruments. Although the project was initiated to improve public access to environmental agreements, the collection today also includes treaties in the fields of human rights, commerce and trade, laws of war and arms control, and other areas. Most of the texts date from 1945 or later, but the collection also includes historical texts, from the 1648 Treaty of Westphalia to the Covenant of the League of Nations.
Transboundary Freshwater Dispute Database: This database aids in the assessment of the process of water conflict prevention and resolution. It was developed by the Oregon State University Department of Geosciences, in collaboration with the Northwest Alliance for Computational Science and Engineering.
