The Integrated Assessment Paradigm
In this section we raise and briefly answer three questions regarding integrated assessments. The intent of this section is to provide a brief summary of a number of salient aspects of Integrated Assessments. Since Integrated Assessments can mean different things to different people, these questions provide a common conceptual basis for the rest of this article. We do not attempt to provide a complete overview of IA research. That task has been carried out elsewhere (Rotmans et al., 1995; Dowlatabadi, 1995; Parsons, 1995; Weyant, 1995)
